Covenant Living Communities and Services was chosen as the winner in the Provider Rebranding category by Aging Media Network’s 2021 Aspect Awards, which showcases the top marketing and advertising campaigns from provider and vendors across the country.
There were more than 40 submissions in the provider category.
The senior living and healthcare provider is a ministry of the Evangelical Covenant Church. Its 3,500 employees serve 5,000 residents at 16 communities in nine states. It is the nation’s sixth-largest nonprofit senior services provider and regularly is honored with awards of excellence.
In June 2019, Covenant Retirement Communities rebranded itself to reflect the broader range of services it offers and to position itself in a more attractive way for a growing customer base with active lifestyles.
The rebranding also sought to preserve Covenant Living’s Christian distinctive and emphasize its historical connection with the Evangelical Covenant Church, said Terri Cunliffe, president and CEO of Covenant Living.
The rebranding was guided by the marketing department in partnership with executive leadership and implemented by the in-house creative and communications teams and several external partners.
