You Are More Than Ready

You Are More Than Ready

January 28

Read: MARK 1:16-20

“And Jesus said to them, ‘Follow me and I will make you fish for people.” And immediately they left their nets and followed him’” (v. 17-18).

Sometimes we believe we are not capable of doing God’s work, and we come to think that God is never going to call us or assign us a specific mission.

Throughout the Gospels, we see how Jesus calls fishermen, men without education or social status. Like every disciple Jesus called, they had to grow in faith. Their work laid the foundation for many of us to believe in Jesus today, so that we do not lose hope. From the moment you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are ready to share the same love with others who need the love of Christ.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for your love for me. Here I am, available to share your love and hope with others. Thank you for listening and answering my prayers.  AMEN.
