Listen and Obey

Listen and Obey

January 26

Read: Jonah 3

We may not feel qualified to serve God, perhaps due to past mistakes. In truth, none of us is really worthy of serving God, yet God asks us to do his work.

2009 was a key year for us as a family—it was the year I decided to serve God full-time, and we became missionaries, 100 percent dependent on the will of God. We have seen God use us to carry his message and reach souls for his kingdom.

The people of Nineveh heard God’s message once and repented. God not only calls us to hear his word; he manifests himself when we respond with obedience. There is always someone who is hoping to hear God’s message. And you, what are you waiting for?

Heavenly Father, thank you for allowing me to be part of your work. Thank you for your protection and divine provision. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayers. In Jesus’s name, AMEN.
