Join the Choir

December 30

Read: PSALM 148

Before the Lord called me into ministry, my passion was the performing arts. I spent all of my free time at the theater, in voice lessons, and at rehearsals for choirs or solo competitions. To me, there are few things in life more exhilarating than standing in the middle of a choir and lifting your voice in harmony with others. Making music is a pure act of beauty.

Imagine the wonder of participating in the praise event of Psalm 148! Imagine singing alongside humans, trees, stars, animals, sea creatures, and angels. Could there be anything more beautiful than all of creation joining together to praise the God who created us?

Each of us is a welcome member of this choir. God created you with the perfect pitch and tone to sing in the choir of all creation. Let us join the song with joy!

Lord, I join the resounding chorus of praise that your glory demands. You are awesome, wonderful, almighty, and faithful. I exalt you! AMEN.
