God Is Waiting for You

God Is Waiting for You

December 12

Read: 2 PETER 3:8-15a

“The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some think of slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish, but all to come to repentance” (v. 9).

Have you ever felt like you were waiting for God, only to discover that God was waiting for you? It’s easy to miss God when life gets busy and Bible study and prayer get squeezed out of your schedule.

Later, after some time has passed, you realize you are still waiting for God. And the realization dawns: the problem isn’t with God.

Make every effort to stay connected to the Father. God is waiting for you.

Father, I know you are waiting to help me. Thank you for your patient love. Open my eyes by your Holy Spirit; help me to see where you are waiting for me to change and give me strength to make the changes. In Jesus’s name, AMEN.
