Southeast Conference to Host Virtual Justice Conference

The Southeast Conference will host its daylong virtual 2020 Justice Conference this Saturday focused on the theme “Where Do We Go from Here? Restructuring American Society.”

The day will be divided into three parts, with two speakers leading each session. (All times are EST.)

Welcome and Orientation (9 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.)

Racism (9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)
Michelle Amy Reyes, vice president of the Asian American Christian Collaborative
Dennis Edwards, professor of New Testament at North Park Theological Seminary

Lunch on your own (11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)

Economic Exploitation (12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.)
Mark Tao, secretary of the Covenant Ministerium
Veronica Gilliard, founder of the J.E.D.I. Institute

Break (2:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.)

War (3 p.m. – 5 p.m.)
Rose Cornelius, founder of Trinity Concepts, a nonoprofit that facilitates African American participation in mission trips
Al Tizon, executive minister of Serve Globally
