  1. Larry was one of the kindest, most up beat gentlemen I have ever met. When my wife, daughter and I arrived in Chicago to begin seminary, he and Jeanette brought us dinner and were good friends throughout those years. He was never gruff, never aloof, never divisive. He was gracious, accepting and had a huge heart for people living in loneliness. His years at the Holmstad were great ones. Peace be his memory. His kind is getting harder to find.
