One Church Dedicates New Building

LOUISVILLE, KY (September 18, 2018) — One Church in Louisville, Kentucky, celebrated the grand opening and dedication of their new building over Labor Day weekend. The church signed a long-term lease at a low rent in return for doing extensive renovations to the property, said co-pastor Matt Ness.

The new facility will enable the church to have multiple activities happening at the same time. The church will continue to use its previous location, located next to the University of Louisville, for college programs.

The two and a half-year-old church plant was started when two congregations—one white, the other African American—each closed and formed the new church.

The grand opening included a smoked meats competition, as well as other activities for families.
