‘Human Violence’ Topic of NPTS Symposium

Seyoon Kim, Fuller Theological Seminary professor of New Testament Studies, is scheduled to present at the symposium.

CHICAGO, IL (September 5, 2018) – The 2018 Symposium on the Theological Interpretation of Scripture will focus on “Human Violence.” The symposium will be held September 27-29 at North Park Theological Seminary.

The symposium will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday night in Nyvall Hall and extend through Saturday afternoon.

Featuring prominent scholars from around the world, the symposium provides a forum for interdisciplinary theology from a biblical perspective for the benefit of the church. Scholars and theologians, as well as anyone interested in learning more and discussing this topic are invited to attend.

Each session will include a paper presentation followed by a short response and open discussion. For a full list of presenters, visit the symposium website.

Attendance is free but registration is required. Interactive live streaming will be available and open to anyone. The link to livestreaming will be available on the symposium site just prior to the event. No registration is needed for online viewing.
