As the denominational magazine and news of the Evangelical Covenant Church, The Covenant Companion informs, stimulates thought, and encourages dialogue on issues that impact the church and its members.
Stories for Cov Magazine
Articles dealing with Christian life, the church (local, denominational, and universal), spirituality, contemporary issues impacting the Christian community, social justice, and outreach ministry are preferred.
We reserve the right to edit all submissions to meet our editorial standards. The average length of articles published in The Companion is 1,200 to 1,800 words. Material can be submitted by mail or electronically at editor(at)covchurch.org. Please include the following with your submission:
- Your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address
- Your vocational background and church affiliation
- A self addressed, stamped envelope, if your submission is sent by mail and you want it returned.
Payment is made within sixty days following publication and includes three copies of the issue in which the article appears.

News items of general interest are welcomed for consideration in the news section of the Covenant Companion website. We are interested in what is happening in local churches, conferences, and other Covenant institutions and associations, as well as reports from missionaries and other staff serving around the world. Human interest stories are also welcome.
