2015 Week of Prayer Material Available for Free

CHICAGO, IL (January 3, 2015) — The 2015 Week of Prayer material is available for free download.

Many Covenant churches have traditionally held a Week of Prayer at the beginning of the year, but Millie Lungren, who leads prayer and spiritual direction efforts of Make and Deepen Disciples, emphasizes the material can be used throughout the year.

The resource Prayer: Actively Waiting is a seven-session guide for individual and small group study, reflection, and interaction. It focuses on the lives of people in the Old Testament and how they prayed for protection, provision, peace, power, and promise.

The material is available here. Printed versions may be ordered for 60 cents each. It is available in English, Korean, and Spanish.

The material was written by E. Jill Riley, who has planted and now leads Navigate, a multiethnic church in Billings, Montana.
