Reservations Being Accepted for Emanuel Gala and Auction

TURLOCK, CA (October 22, 2012) – Reservations are now being accepted for Emanuel Medical Center’s annual Festival of Trees Gala and Auction that benefits Hospice of Emanuel and the Jessica’s House grief support program for children.

The theme for the December 1 dinner and auction is “Viva España.” The Festival of Trees Gala and Auction is this year’s major fundraiser for Hospice of Emanuel, and this year will also support Jessica’s House. The deadline for receipt of reservations is November 9.

“Festival of Trees is always a special evening and a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season,” said Shirley Pok, Emanuel’s vice president of development. “Because it will support the wonderful work being done at Jessica’s House as well as Hospice, it will be even more special this year.”

The program includes a social hour and silent auction beginning at 5 p.m. with live music performed by Toques Flamencos. Dinner begins at 7 p.m., followed by a live auction that will feature a variety of items and experiences, with dancing to the music of The Valley Cats continuing until midnight.

The black-tie-preferred event will be held at the Assyrian American Civic Club in Turlock. Seating is limited and assigned on a first-come basis.

For more information, to reserve a table or to donate, email Emanuel’s Office of Development or call them at 209-664-5180.

Emanuel Medical Center is a not-for-profit, community-based hospital administered by Covenant Ministries of Benevolence on behalf of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
